Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper, drawing an 8-inch circle as a guide.
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, whip the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture becomes glossy.
  4. Gently fold in the white vinegar and vanilla extract.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet within the drawn circle, creating slight peaks if desired.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour or until the exterior is crisp but still soft inside. Allow to cool completely before assembling.
