Description

Crispy Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls are a mouthwatering fusion of classic cheesesteak flavors wrapped in a crunchy shell. Stuffed with savory flank steak, gooey provolone cheese, and sautéed peppers and onions, these egg rolls are the ultimate crowd-pleaser for game days or cozy nights in. Easy to make and impossible to resist, they’re perfect for sharing with family and friends!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers (12 count)
  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced (mixed red and green)
  • 1 cup sweet onion, diced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying (about 2 cups)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté diced bell peppers and onions until tender. Add the sliced flank steak seasoned with garlic powder and cook until browned.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon some of the steak mixture onto the center of the wrapper and top with a slice of provolone cheese.
  3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides tightly, then roll towards the top corner to secure.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to about 350°F (175°C). Carefully place egg rolls into the hot oil in batches.
  5. Fry each side for about three minutes or until golden brown. Use tongs to flip gently.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
