  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick)
  • 1 tsp crushed anise seeds
  • 5 cardamom pods (crushed)
  • 3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together rice flour and 4 cups of cold water until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until thickened and bubbly.
  3. Add sugar, cinnamon, anise seeds, and cardamom pods. Stir well to combine and cook for another minute.
