  • 2 filet mignon (68 oz each)
  • 1 cup large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lobster meat, fresh or pre-cooked
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season both sides of the filet mignon generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the filets for 3-4 minutes on each side until a crust forms. Remove filets and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter to the skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Deglaze with white wine; simmer briefly.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, then add shrimp and lobster meat. Cook until heated through.
  6. Return filets to the skillet and transfer it to the oven. Bake for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
  7. Serve topped with the shrimp and lobster sauce, garnished as desired.
