Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; set aside.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into squares (approximately 4 inches each) and place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create pockets and seal edges well.
- Whisk together egg and water for an egg wash; brush over each bomb.
- Place bombs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
