Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless lamb shoulder or beef sirloin
- 1 cup red bell peppers, cut into chunks
- 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cut the lamb or beef into bite-sized cubes. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate the meat for at least one hour in the refrigerator.
- While marinating, chop red bell peppers and onions into skewer-friendly pieces.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated meat and vegetables onto the skewers alternately.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C). Grill skewers for about 4-6 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through (145°F internal temperature for medium-rare).
