Instructions

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add the orange slices to the syrup and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour until they become translucent.
  4. Remove slices from the syrup and place them on a wire rack or parchment paper to cool. Toss in granulated sugar once cooled.
  5. Let the candies sit overnight to firm up before serving.
