  • 2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 cup water (for dough)
  • 1 tsp salt (for dough)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse bulgur under cold water until clear; soak in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. In a skillet, sauté onions until translucent. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Stir in pine nuts and spices; set aside to cool.
  3. 3. Mix soaked bulgur with salt; knead until smooth. Form small discs in your palm.
