  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cinnamon powder (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine rinsed rice and whole milk over medium heat. Cook until simmering, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add sugar, vanilla extract, and salt; stir until well combined and dissolved.
  4. Stir frequently for another 5 minutes until the pudding thickens.
  5. Transfer to serving dishes, cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle with cinnamon.
