Ingredients
  

Tomatoes
  • 4 medium ripe tomatoes halved
Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Halve the tomatoes and brush them with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the tomatoes.
Grilling
  1. Place the tomatoes cut side down in a grilling basket.
  2. Grill for about 5 minutes, then flip and grill for another 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the grill and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired.
