Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
Filling
  • 1 cup sweet red bean paste
Coating
  • 1 cup sesame seeds
Oil for frying
  • 2 cups vegetable oil

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour and sugar. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms.
Form the Balls
  1. Divide the dough into small portions. Flatten each portion, place a spoonful of red bean paste in the center, and seal the dough around the filling to form a ball.
Coat with Sesame Seeds
  1. Roll each ball in sesame seeds until fully coated.
Fry the Balls
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer. Fry the sesame balls until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
