Ingredients
  

Biscuit Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup shredded roast beef
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  2. Place a spoonful of roast beef and cheese in the center of each square.
  3. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with beef broth for dipping.
