Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4 medium pears ripe but firm
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
Topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds
  • 2 tablespoons additional honey for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half and remove the core.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Stuff each pear half with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed pears in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the pears.
  7. Drizzle additional honey over the pears.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the pears are tender.
  2. Serve warm as a delightful dessert.
