Ingredients
  

Steak Marinade
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Steak
  • 4 pieces steak your choice of cut
Caprese Topping
  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 2 cups tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Method
 

Marinate the Steak
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Grill the Steak
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated steak for about 5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
Prepare the Caprese Topping
  1. While the steak is grilling, slice the mozzarella and tomatoes. Arrange them on a plate with fresh basil leaves.
Serve
  1. Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the steak and serve it over the Caprese topping, drizzling with balsamic glaze.
