Prepare the Batter
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: milk, blood orange juice, blood orange zest, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Cook the Pancakes
- Preheat a griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
