Prepare the topping
- If using fresh broad beans, blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then cool in ice water. If using frozen, simply thaw them.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the broad beans, crumbled goats' cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
Prepare the base
- Grill the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
Assemble the bruschetta
- Top each slice of grilled bread with the broad bean and goats' cheese mixture.
