Method
Prepare the Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, hazelnut spread, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
Prepare the Frosting
- In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and hazelnut spread, mixing until well combined.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.
