Cooking Barley
- Rinse the barley under cold water to remove any debris.
- In a pot, combine the rinsed barley, water, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 40 minutes or until the barley is tender.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
- Fluff the barley with a fork and serve.
