  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add bread crumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
  5. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
