Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 2 teaspoons paprika for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 buns burger buns to serve
  • 4 slices cheese optional
  • 1 cup pickles for topping
  • 1 cup lettuce for topping
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for spreading

Method
 

Prepare Chicken
  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
Fry Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the coated chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  3. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Assemble Sandwich
  1. Spread mayonnaise on the buns.
  2. Place fried chicken on the bottom bun, add cheese, pickles, and lettuce.
  3. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
