- Grate the potatoes and onion, then place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the beaten egg, flour, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix well.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

- Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
