Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Layer
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream softened
  • 1 quart chocolate ice cream softened
  • 1 quart strawberry ice cream softened
Cake Layer
  • 1 cup cake mix prepared according to package instructions
Meringue Topping
  • 4 large egg whites room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare Ice Cream Layers
  1. Layer the softened ice creams in a mold, starting with vanilla, then chocolate, and finally strawberry. Freeze until firm.
Prepare Cake Layer
  1. Bake the cake mix according to package instructions and let it cool.
Make Meringue
  1. Whip the egg whites until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar and vanilla, whipping until stiff peaks form.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Place the ice cream layers on top of the cooled cake layer, then spread the meringue on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F (232°C) for about 10 minutes or until golden.
