  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk any type of milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • pinch salt to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, mix cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add milk gradually while whisking until smooth.
  3. Heat over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if using.
  5. Pour into a mug and enjoy.
