Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 1 pound Flank steak or sirloin
Bread
  • 4 slices Ciabatta bread
Toppings
  • 1 cup Sautéed onions
  • 1 cup Sautéed bell peppers
  • 4 slices Cheese optional
Condiments
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard

Method
 

Prepare the Steak
  1. Season the flank steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Slice the ciabatta bread in half and toast lightly.
  2. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the bread.
  3. Layer the sliced steak, sautéed onions, and bell peppers on the bread.
  4. Top with cheese if desired and close the sandwich.
Serve
  1. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
