Ingredients
  

  • 4 artichokes fresh
  • 1 lemon lemon cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Fill a steamer pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Prepare the artichokes by trimming the stems and removing any tough outer leaves.
  3. Place the artichokes in the steamer basket and squeeze lemon juice over them.
  4. Sprinkle salt over the artichokes.
  5. Cover and steam for about 30 minutes, or until the leaves can be easily pulled off.
