Method
- Fill a steamer pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- Prepare the artichokes by trimming the stems and removing any tough outer leaves.
- Place the artichokes in the steamer basket and squeeze lemon juice over them.
- Sprinkle salt over the artichokes.
- Cover and steam for about 30 minutes, or until the leaves can be easily pulled off.
