Ingredients
  

Shortcake Base
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
Filling
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
Decoration
  • 1 cup white chocolate melted
  • 1 cup colored sprinkles

Method
 

Prepare the Shortcake
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in milk until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into egg shapes and place in the egg mold.
Make the Filling
  1. Mix sliced strawberries with whipped cream.
Assemble the Bombs
  1. Fill the shortcake eggs with the strawberry filling.
  2. Seal the eggs and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Decorate
  1. Dip the eggs in melted white chocolate and sprinkle with colored sprinkles.
  2. Allow to set before serving.
