  • 350 grams water room temperature
  • 100 grams sourdough starter active
  • 10 grams salt

Method
 

Making the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, water, and sourdough starter. Mix until no dry flour remains.
  2. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Add salt and mix thoroughly.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
First Rise
  1. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 4-6 hours at room temperature until doubled in size.
Shaping and Second Rise
  1. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  2. Cover and let it rise for another 2-3 hours.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Bake the bread for 40 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Let the bread cool before slicing.
