Cachapas Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Blend the corn kernels, cornmeal, milk, egg, salt, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
  3. Pour a ladle of the batter into the skillet and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  4. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter as needed.
  5. Serve warm with cheese or toppings of your choice.
