  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 cup milk or plant-based milk for creaminess

  • 1 cup fresh fruits such as berries or bananas
  • 1 tablespoon nuts or seeds for crunch

Method
 

Cooking the Porridge
  1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the wild rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  4. Stir in milk and sweetener, and heat through.
Serving
