Cheez-It Dough
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup water as needed

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, softened butter, all-purpose flour, salt, and paprika.
  3. Mix until the ingredients form a crumbly dough.
  4. Add water gradually until the dough comes together.
Shape and Bake
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Cut into squares using a knife or pizza cutter.
  3. Place the squares on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Let cool before serving.
